My PBL Artefact.

Wednesday 2nd August 2017. Today I am blogging about my project I created by myself, I had a fun time doing this and i ended up with a cool finish,I used lots of perseverance and I stretched my a lot of my other learning muscles. Next PBL I am going to make a completely different project because I think it will be cool. BYE!!

Free Choice blog. Whitanga/ trip

Yay 1 more night until our trip starts I said. The next morning we woke up very early we got  ready to leave for a week. I was very excited and happy to get away from Hawkes Bay for a week. My Aunty is taking me and my and my three cousins. We all were still tired because it was so early in the morning. ( when we arrived) I was amazed it was so beautiful the beaches were stunningly cool. I was petrified with excitement. In the back of my mind I had a feeling we were going swimming. (We did go swimming every day) Tuesday morning we went and picked pipis. After picking the pipis we focused on finding shell that could live long.

Wednesday night we thought of going diving on Thursday afternoon. We all agreed with excitement me and my cousin Moana were getting ready for bed when I realised it is Wednesday I thought it was Monday still. ( it was very late at night). It was Thursday morning and we went picking for muscles it got really deep and I was struggling with fair because the waves were monsters.  I was really petrified . Friday we were leaving because we were heading to Tauranga for a night. ( I really enjoyed my trip because it showed me how fun other cities are and I will never regret going)

Waimarama beach.

Waimarama beach.

As I feel the extraordinary  breeze  upon my legs swishing passed me. I see the amazing view  just in front of my eyes. The sand is blowing like a thunder storm. The waves are swishing back and forth. The blue water it just beautiful sparkling in my eyes. The summer  light is mind blowing like a balloon just popped. As the blue sky blends in with the blue water reflecting  onto my eyes.

As I glare at the mountains I barely see the trees.  It’s an awesome feeling  and peacefull place too!. The sure is warm but the water is  cold. Waimarama beach is a surrounding place where awesome waves and outstanding weather. Swimming and splashing is aloud but going out further is not allowed. It starts off shallow but gets deeper and deeper.

As waves splash it give me an enormous fright. This is a calming beach where you can enjoy yourself whenever you want. The sky is blue just blue it’s like it’s not even their! This is the most fantastic sight I’ve ever  been to before.  This is a success for the beach. This is hard to believe that this is not a picture. This is a mind blowing sight.

My waka art.

So lately I have been wanting to share my waka art that I have been working on. So I started off with a plan a very simple plan now this art is very fun. Now this waka art inspires me by lots of people and lots of subjects. So my waka art is very special to me because I spent lots of time making this to my PB. I also got a lot of help from my friends at school. My waka art Represents mainly my whanau and friends and the things I like to do. 

P.E blog post.

Welcome back to term 4. In term 4 we are going to start learning steps  for athletics that is coming up soon and the teachers want us to do a good job.

We did lots of jumping in our session and we also  made a good start in the first session. 

At the second session we did throwing and in a special position. I like throwing because it help's you get stronger in a learning way. 
In throwing you learn lots and lots and we also got to see who can get the furthest. 

The third one we learned was running which I liked because I think I learnt so much. I might use some idea's for my cross-country running.

Art blog post / sketching.

Hey guys,
Have you ever seen sketching like this before? Well you're about to see the awesome sketching that I have made.
 I am going to talk you guys through step by step.  I like sketching.

Steps for sketching.

You need:

1. A3 peice of paper.

2. sketching pencil

3. rubber

4. pencil.

Some tips
You have to shade on the side of your pencil not on the tip.
Also you shade best with a shading pen.
Always look at what you are drawing.

So that is all you need to make a great piece of art!.

Literacy blog post.

Hey guys and today I am going to share my literacy that I have been working on. I like my literacy because I learn lots and I am always enjoying everything. So far I have been getting good learning from my literacy teacher. I like learning lots because I get smarter. I can also help other people which is called collaboration, when we work together. Literacy helps our learning and we are also getting ready for some big tests coming up.

My learning tasks

HI guys welcome back to my blog 2016 I am going to talk about  my leaning tasks are my PB all the time I learn lots from them and see what is best how and what to do for them it is always my PB because I use the learning steps that I have learnt so far.They help me learn so much. As it is always right that it is about learning not about funday day it is about learning and that is what I like most about my learning tasks.

But so far I have done my PB and had fun at funday but the most inportant thing is to help your learning till we will finish primary and learnt lots and Rimu is a place were you learn and do lots of fun learning and we all show our learning to our PB. I love the learning in Rimu and it is fun and we can always help you with your learning and ous and our teachers. I have made lots of mistakes and no one is perfect and no one will ever be and that is how we learn.

My calender art.

This week we have been working on our calendar art we had to fold our pieces of paper diagonally. One side represents night time and the other represents day time so on 1 side we have to use hot colours and on the other we have to use cold colours. I chose this art because I found it challenging for me and it would teach me a lot by following the instructions, making it to my Personal best and take my time.

My project.

My project is Gymnastics. It is a sport that you can keep doing for ages. 
My project could be challenging because of where I can learn more about gymnastics.  I know a little bit of it but I am still working on what I know so far.

I like gymnastics and a few other olympic sports that keep me happy but I chose gymnastics because it makes me even happier. My favorite trick for gymnastics is a hand walk over into the splits. 

But for those of you  that don't know something, well, gymnastics is in the olympics and I just learnt that this year. So I just wanted to tell you guys for your learning.

Learning about Beyonce/reading task

On the first day that we were learning about Beyonce I had nothing to talk about Beyonce. When our session was over it made me go back to when I did not know anything about Beyonce but now I am going to tell you a bit of things that we learnt in about 15 minutes. So we got given 2 sides of paper the first one was called family/early life, the second one was called solo career, the third one was called awards /honour and the last one was called Destiny's Child. So we got a piece of paper and we had to write as many notes as we could and turn it into a report. But for our task we have to get into a three and make up a dance to move your body. Me and my buddies Alize & Rain haven't finished ours yet but we are working on it to make it our personal best. We have finished now and we have videoed it.

Hi guys welcome back to my blog 2016, have you had an awesome holiday? 

I did. Well I did heaps of cool things but their is one thing that I want to talk about one thing in particular that I wanted to talk about, even more than the others .

 So as we walked into the door  I saw lots of pools and it was so suprising that I got a fright. So I went into the changing rooms and got into my togs but when I got out I went down the stairs, 1234, into the pools. I felt so calm that I laid down and started paddling through the nice and warm pool. I liked the pool closest to the little toddler pool. I really like going to the pools.

All about my passion project/ blog post.

I am have been working on my passion project and I have been working as well as I can.
I wrote a song called summer time and keep calm. My passion project isn't finished yet but I have almost finished I like projects because it is what I like to do when I am happy I get right into my learning. I liked  working on my project until it was time to pack up. I liked finishing it and taking my time on it.

All about Parkvale School

 Hi I am going to write about Parkvale school  here I go it is a huge school and it is there is 21 classes and I am in the highest class. I'll ask you later what class am I in this is just to get you started. The years we have is from year 0 - year 6's and we are in a modern hub. I am a year four and I am 8 yrs old My teachers are Mr Moriarty and Mrs Love and Mrs Carr. We have learing tasks and learning task are when you have as much time as you have to have and everyone would like to get them do before Friday because it is called fun day Friday. So everyone's rushing but rushing is the wrong way to do it. You have to learn and  take your time and wait till you have finished your goal. Now my hub is called Rimu hub and we are a really big hub and hard workers.

Rimu hub is really focused.

Welcome back to my blog and today I am going to share about my learning  and my new prior knowledge to figure the answers out. I like learning because it is really cool and it makes me want to learn more and more until I am older. I like  leaning so much and did you know that it is the best thing to do for me during school is learning and enjoyment.We have learning task time and we have about two to three weeks to get them done and there is about twelve tasks for us to do and I enjoy doing them.We have heaps of learning mucles and I will name most of them that we have been focusing on Managing distractions and Absorption and perseverance and that is all for today.

Hi we are going to get straight into my blog post today and I hope you will like it.

My learning is tough but it is a good for my learning. My learning is good for me because
it is all that I need to work on because I'm not  that good at it yet. My goal is to be
better at it at the end of the year. We are a huge hub that's always on task and happy all the
time.

Welcome back to my blog 2016 today I am going to show some of my learning that I have learnt

so far . We have been having heaps of workshops coming and coming towards us that we might need to learn more about. We also have a self management rubric to see and know what level we are on in all of our learning. Rimu hub is a great place to have fun and enjoy yourself. We have heaps of learning task coming towards us. We have to be confident in all of our learning.

 I like Rimu hub because we have heaps of helpers and role models.
